Will it fit my XL 80mm+ phone?

We are only supporting phones up to 80mm in width. Our aspiration is that it will open more than this - but won’t have definite answer before production.

Will it fit my XL (80mm+) phone?

We are still finalising with the manufacturer exactly how much the production version of the mount can open. But don’t worry we are trying to eek out every mm/inch. We are trying to accommodate XL phones over 80mm - but for now have decided to not make any promises over 80mm but will let you know as soon as we have an update on this.

Can I take in mountain biking?

Loop is designed for road riding. Although it is very strong and we have tested it in some extreme examples - we wouldn’t recommend for off-road or extreme riding. There are some great products out there aimed at these extreme use cases.

Will it fit my handlebars?

Sorry we can’t get our heads around everyones individual setup (there are so many!). The mount itself will fit on a bar between 22.2mm (7/8”) - 31.8mm (1 1/4”) diameter. It will ship with 3 shims designed to work with 22.2mm (7/8”), 23.8mm(15/16”), 25.4mm (1”) and 23.8mm (1 1/4”) diameter bars.

Will it fit my handlebars?

Sorry its difficult for us to understand everyones individual setup - but it will fit any round 22.2mm-31.8mm diameter bars and it gives the phone around 12-13mm clearance from the top of the bar for most setups.

Does it have a portrait mode/rotate?

Unfortunately on of the tradeoffs of the small compact size is that it is designed to work in landscape mode on handlebars. We will definitely think about a rotating version for v2. If it fits your stem or top tube then it can be held portrait.

Will it fit my stem/top tube?

I will fit your stem or top tube (22.2-31.8mm and circular-ish)- then Loop can hold your phone portrait. The elastomer shims are able to help smooth out any off-circular shapes as long as fairly subtle.

Why is the shipping expensive?

Unfortunately the shipping is higher than we would like, especially to countries outside EU/US. At the start of the campaign we didn’t really know quantities or popularity in different countries so we had plan for several different fulfilment strategies. And the campaign advances we are starting to have more clarity now and if we do manage to get the prices down we’ll be sure to pass on any savings to backers.

What thickness of phone will it fit?

Loop is designed primarily for phones and cases less than 12-13mm. Thicker phones may fit - but won’t be held as securely because they are not held in with ‘overhang’ of the clamp.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
